New Research Project to understand culturally and linguistically diverse needs relating to road safety

Professor Fethi Mansouri, along with co-researchers Amanuel Elias and Santosh Jatrana, will receive funding from the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning to conduct a project titled “Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Needs and Gap Analysis – literature review, jurisdictional scan and data analysis”. The three-month project will begin soon.

Project Description

Culturally and linguistically diverse Victorians face unique challenges when it comes to road safety and there is a lack of data and research into the issues affecting them specifically. A needs gap analysis is required to explore the issues and systemic barriers confronting these communities in relation to service accessibility and road safety education.
