Named leading Australian researcher in Human Migration 2026

For the third year running, Professor Fethi Mansouri was named the leading researcher in the field of Human Migration, in The Australian’s 2026 Research Magazine.

How leading researchers are determined

The Research Magazine determines research leaders based on their research output in 250 fields of research, using Google Scholar to obtain data on citations. The score researchers receive is equal to the number of citations for papers published – by the individual and the institution – in the top 20 journals of each particular field over the past five years.
